refused to offer blood tests after i explained i was on diy hrt and needed one to monitor my blood levels. Also made it extremely difficult and basically refused to give me a letter for my passport gender change. I went to them a few years back to get on the GIC waiting list and i was completely ignored and not listened to , however around autumn 2024 i went to the one specific female doctor who did get me on the waiting list, she seems to be the only vaguely supportive individual at the whole surgery. i also requested my name to be changed and provided them with my deed poll, but they only changed my preferred name and did not officially change it (even tho i literally asked??) so it still says my deadname on my records.

Been registered with the practise for around 40 years. When I first came out partially around 1990 they provided a letter that I carried if I was arrested to explain to police why I was dresses as myself. In 2019 I asked to be referred to GIC which they did and changed my marker to Mx and my name on the surgery system. I went to genderGP and Over agreed to proscribe hormones and do my bloods under the advice of genderGP. They agreed to my changing my NHS Records to female. There have been many changes of GP’s at this surgery so I am not sure if they would do all this if asked now but I have always felt accepted and well treated there.
