The surgery is brilliant with my trans care. They have a shared care
agreement with my private endocrinologist at Gender Care. My current
GP meticulously follows all the endocrinologist's guidance. This
includes absolutely everything: My quarterly blood tests and blood pressure check; prescriptions; and any other tests the endo
advises. Over the years, that has included a bone density scan, and
recently, two day surgeries to discover whether my post-menopausal
bleeding was a sign of a cancerous or pre-cancerous condition. All on
the NHS. All the nurses I’ve ever had there are great. They are all
completely gender blind, and they all seem to really love working
there. There is one snarky receptionist. I have no idea whether it’s
because I’m a trans man, or she’s just got a personality problem. The
rest are friendly and super helpful.Notes from the moderator...
